Back at last! Back at last! Hallelujah! Yes, indeed after seven years, we did return to the Washington County Fairgrounds. 7,000 attendees enthusiastically endorsed and welcomed back the most popular art and craft show in the entire Albany metro area. Once again in 2007, all artists and craftspeople will be housed inside the spacious buildings at the Fairgrounds, and the buildings will be heated if necessary. 160 exhibitors will display and sell pottery, furniture, clothing, jewelry, original art, prints, metal work, leather, photography, and more. The fabulous facility includes clean concrete floors, a tremendous parking lot, heaters, a new state of the art water treatment facility, and many other improvements to the buildings and grounds. Because the dates are later in the season than before, we can assume that many patrons will use the show to start and finish their holiday gift buying in a single afternoon. In addition to the creative shopping and fabulous entertainment, there will be a food court, a special section specialty food exhibits, and a New York State wine tasting daily.
